Book Review

This story is a spirit-lifting journey of two souls finding each other and is a quick read. The characters are well-developed and you get involved with the flow of it easily. The lead characters play realistic characters and we instantly feel connected especially to the female protagonist who is a receptionist at a law firm.

After a bitter end to a relationship, our female lead goes on an unexpected vacation to Hawaii and everything changes for the better. The male protagonist is a TV star and has his own demons to deal with and happens to be in Hawaii at the same time. How they meet, what happens next is interesting and the author indulges the reader in feel-good cosmic vibes.

When we are given a second chance, would we do something better or repeat our earlier mistakes? Do we make our own happy endings? These are some of the issues the protagonists deal with while we eagerly read on to see what happens next.

Second chances are something that we all wish for, especially when it comes to our mistakes. In this story, we will be looking at a story of redemption and how one person’s journey towards a second chance is filled with lessons about making the right choices. We explore how this character learns from their past mistakes and finds a way to make better decisions in order to create a brighter future. Is it possible to make something better out of our second chance or if we are doomed to repeat our earlier mistakes?

Conclusion

As readers, we often get attached to characters in books and want to know more about them. This is especially true for Shooting Stars, a captivating novel that will leave you wanting more. While the ending of the book does bring closure to the story, I can’t help but wish that the author would write a sequel to explore further into the lives of its characters. Very used to watching Netflix series, I know 😀

Pick it up for a nice evening read and enjoy!
